I was washing dishes today and noticed that the white clover we got from Marcia was all chewed up and most of the leaves were missing. at first I thought it was one of our cats then I noticed a little green caterpillar about an inch long munching on the plant.
I was like wow were did you come from. its in a single pot in our kitchen. I wonder if a moth came in and laid her eggs close by, don't know.
then I thought Hmmm. feeder. but I don't wont to feed it to any of my herps before knowing what species it is. so for now I am going to put him in the garden.

Then I thought if it is a safe species to feed couldn't they be cultivated for a personal feeder supply.

Any thoughts good or bad, or any good sites on Identifying caterpillars.

Was doing some quick research and it looks like a cabbage looper which is a pest species so obviously it would be a very controlled cultivation. so aside from that, nutrition and safeness for the animals eating them.
