CERAMIC Heat bulbs

Can I stick a cermic heat bulb in my wooden vivaruim
Measurements are 36" long, 12" depth and 17" height

I keep getting mixed messages that you can or others say you can't

Any help please

I don't have a wooden viv, glass aqu, or a leo yet either, so I can't speak from personally knowing, but I've seen pics posted of bearded dragon vivs that are wooden with ceramic heat bulbs in them. Husband & I plan on making one for our beardie and using a ceramic heat bulb in it. So I would think you could for a Leo viv, just remember to make sure the animal can't physically reach/touch the bulb.

More experienced people should be along. :)

thanks, i think the main thing im unsure on is the height of the viv, wether their is a minium height for cermic bulbs or not, but thanks anyway

i have a ceramic in a 50 gallon tank and it has no problem heating it temps on the warm side are 90 to 95 depending on room temps so try and build it that high i think it also depends on wattage of the heat bulb the higher the wattage the hotter the temp
