ceramic heat emitters

Does anyone else use ceramic heat emitteres? i was thinking of using one when i get my leo's but i've heard mixed reviews of them, has anyone here used them before?

I have used them before. Wasn't too thrilled about them. I had a 150w emitter for my 40breeder tank. I had to use a dimmer because it would get too hot. An undertank heater or some heat tape works MUCH better. Besides, belly heat is what you're looking for anyway. I only use the emitter in the colder months but only to supplement the UTH and heat tapes.

I don't think that ceramic heat emitter is a better choice for Leopards.
I only use heat tapes for my leo and use ceramic heat emitter for Tortoises.

Belly heat using an UTH is best for a leo.
