Ceramic tiles...

Hey everyone,

My dad's just bought a load of lovely ceramic tiles. Am i right in thinking i can get rid of the paper towel, cut the tiles down to fit and put them across the bottom of the viv?

as long as they're not too slick they'll be fine :main_yes: make sure you keep an eye on your temps, the tile may hold the heat longer than the paper towels or you may have to bump the heat up a bit to make sure its getting through the tiles.

Yes, but I still put paper towel over the tile where the heat pad is. Gives me peace of mind that there's a layer or 2 of protection.

if you have a thermostat just put the temp probe over the uth, i still have repticarpet below the tile to provide a softer surface to set the tile on
