Chahouas?

Talk to me about Chahouas, please. I am totally coveting one after reading that they are the most handleable of all gecko's. Is it true? Are they really much more docile to hold than my sweet fat tail or my relatively chill Crested? I have a bearded dragon that is like a sweet puppy to hold and blue tongue skink that is also super handleable...would a Chahoua come close to either of those?

In my fantasy life, I find one listed for sale for a great price that is an older male that has been handled a lot but the owner has tired of or that doesn't breed well for some reason....since that will probably never happen....does anyone have any suggestions for breeders that sell animals that have been handled more?

I would love to hear about peoples experience with these animals...

Or...also any difference between mainland and PI Chahouas? It seems that the PI are in much more demand from what I can tell..why is that?

Thanks!

They can be quite docile but that doesn't mean all are. Out of my four PIs 2 are moderately handleable. I can't compare them to fat tails but I don't think any gecko will come close to how handleable beardies are.

Mainlands in captivity have a smaller gene pool and are in many cases not as large or vibrant as PIs.
