Chance of getting normals?

Hi, I acquired a Blazing Blizzard female not too long ago (or atleast that is what it was sold to me as). I am expecting her first eggs to hatch any day now and I wondered if there is any chance I would get normal offspring if the father was a RAPTOR. I was under the impression that I should get only Albino offspring with this pairing.........B

If she's a Tremper Blazing Blizzard, you will get 100% Tremper albino het Eclipse het Blizzard offspring. No normals. If you do get normals, that would mean she isn't Tremper and would be Rainwater instead.

Yeah, she was sold to me as a Tremper BB, Im not quite convinced she is though. I have bred her to my RAPTOR male and like I said I am hoping for Albino offspring, crossed fingers! I have only 2 of her eggs so far and they are due to hatch any day now:main_thumbsup:

Why are you not quite convinced? Mind you, I have had a person sell me a Rainwater animal as a Tremper animal and thereby ruin one of my projects, but that's a different gripe....

Her eyes, she doesnt seem to have the typical albino eye that the Blazing Blizzards have.

If you got her from a Reputable Breeder you should have no reason to worry. Just take some Eye Shots and we can hopefully confirm her strain of Albinism for you

I have both a rainwater blazing blizzard and a tremper bb to me the eyes look more like my tremper than the Rainwater. The rainwaters eyes are alot lighter than that. If no one gets back to you conclusively I will snap pics of both their eyes tomorrow and post for you.

The first offspring of RAPTOR X Blazing Blizzard hatched last night, I would have to think now that she is a Blazing Blizzard, the hatchling came out as an Albino:main_thumbsup:
