Changing up housing, looking for opinions on a hide

I have a tank that has a floor space of 48" x 20" x 20", and for the last 3-4 years it's been a naturalistic planted tank for my AFTs. But I was really sick with mono (for the second time in 5 years!) for the entire month of March so the plants didn't get the watering they needed and everything has pretty much died (the geckos are fine, no worries.) And since the tank has been so dry all the clean-up crew bugs have either died as well or have run away looking for greener pastures.

I was debating going out and replacing the plants and starting the viv over again when it occurred to me that maybe I should try out a less "alive" approach for a while. So the idea in a nut shell is pretty typical; really nice stone tiles, grapewood to climb, etc., small cover plants in ceramic pots... that kind of thing. Just to keep things simple for the time being, since setting up and maintaining a viv is time-consuming.

So my question is this: I'm considering switching from my cork hides to the black hide boxes (Medium Black Hide Box) What are the opinions on these hides? I've seen them at shows, they seem high-quality, but I've never used them.

Any other brands of similar sleek-looking hides anyone would recommend instead?

Thanks a ton guys!

Decided to order a couple of the really large size for my skink this week, as I was looking for something easier to disinfect. I'll post when I get them, but I'm guessing it will be a couple weeks based on the speed of my last order from LLL Reptile.

Thanks Rachel! I'd appreciate that. I've entered a photo contest on another forum, trying to see if I can win a gift card to LLL and get my new hides and UTHs for free lol If not I may pick these up at a reptile show next month. But it'll be a couple weeks at least, so I have time to look for opinions.

They definitely seem easy to clean and they seem cozy (not a lot of unnecessary height.)

I got my extra large hides yesterday, and they look good to me. They aren't hard-shell plastic. The material has a bit of give to it, more like a stiff Rubbermaid. There's a little bit of texture on the inside surface, and a small lip around the bottom and door edges. I'm pleased with them so far. I'm going to swap them into the skink cage tomorrow on medicine/cleaning day. Let me know if you have any other questions about them or want pictures.
