I need to know what are specific things that happened to your females when they were about to lay eggs.My female is pregnant and when i put her in her box of vermiculite and she closed her eyes and started to shake a little.

Well my female that just laid eggs looked very round and then that night hid in the humidity hide and I had eggs in the humidity hide when I woke up .

A few days prior to laying eggs, females will stop eating and do a lot of digging around in their lay box. Within about 24 hours of laying, there will be a 'hole' dug in the substrate and she will stay in the lay box in position to deposit the eggs.
