Some pictures of the backpacking trip my friend and I just got back from this weekend. The Chattahoochee National Forest in north Ga bordering NC, in conjunction with the start of the Appalachian Trail.
Id forgotten my memory card so all I had was my internal memory and since I don't have the money for a real camera I had to use my little Kodak (that I despise entirely)

Light on the trail through the early Saturday morning humidity. It was so thick Friday night you could see yourself breathing it in and out in the light.

Light on the river. Has to be one of my favorite pictures I took.

At waterfall spilling out between the cracks of two cliffs. Affectionately known as Raven Cliff Falls. Not the best picture, not the best time to take it, but the only one of it I have.

My friend observing the river bellow Raven Cliff Falls.

Another falls called Duke's Creek Falls.

And the vista view from the top of the trail head of Duke's Creek.

It was beautiful country and I plan to go back. But not before I get together with some more friends and make a trip to Reed Bingham for a long weekend very soon.

Wow, that's some beautiful scenery. How's the water temp on the falls? I know in the White Mts, NH it's an instant brain freeze. But after hiking to the destination nobody cares!

Maurice, thanks. it did ok. ive been helping my dad (pro photographer) for years. at least since i was in 7th grade. im also minoring in photography. but i still would like a camera with more options. interchangeable lenses, manual mode, etc. for a point and shoot. the kodak is decent.

Jeanine, the water is omg! temp. lol. all i had to do was put my foot in it and was cooled down all over, it was like the sweat on my brow was instantly dried up. thought about swimming but the temp made that prospect out of the question.
