CHE in an incubator??

I built an incubator from an old fridge.It is about 4' high,2' wide,and 2' deep.I tried using heat tape to heat it and it doesn't get hot enough to use,nor does it heat back up fast enough.I installed a ceramic heat emitter inside and now it heats up quickly.Has anyone ever use a che inside an incubator?I am using a Helix thermostat and there is a fan inside.
