i was taking pics for my other ID thread... here's a little back story on this guy...

i had come across this snake in a trade for corals... i put it up on craigslist FT/FS because... it's a snake... lol... and she would bite, a lot... so some guy said, i have a cool leopard gecko you would like... i'm like... tight, send me pics... now i know why he sent me the pics he did... anyways... sent me pics, i said yes... he said that he will deliver it to my pad for the trade...

he came, i handed him the snake, he gave me gecko... and i was happy... right...? he told me it was an albino snow giant... i don't know much about them... whatever... he looks different than my other ones, so i was happy... LOL...

so i'm getting him ID'd and was asked for more pictures... and of his eye... i take this one with the flash and i saw this...

i noticed that he has red on his eye lids... looks like bacteria infection to me... but i don't know much about this, so i'll keep my mouth shut... in the normal picture it doesn't look bad... but as i was playing with photoshop, i made some of the colors come out and i saw red... no bueno...

no wonder he hardly walks around with his eyes open... i also hardly see him eat... he is super mellow too... never tries to run away... sleeps out in the open and doesn't hide much like the others... always licks his eyes... and no wonder that dude traded it for a snake... man... i knew there was a catch...

anyways...

what do i do...? what can i put on him, and how do i prevent this...? also... he looks a bit thin compared to the other ones... is there something i should do...? like force feed him some dubias...?

any advice would be appreciated... thank you in advance, and i want nothing but to help this guy out... give him a long happy healthy life... please share your experiences and help me out...

thanks...

Hmmm it does look inflamed...I have no advice for self treatment, I think you ought to see a vet. Sorry you got a bad deal, hopefully he'll recover just fine!

oh poo...

i thought you were going to say neosporin or something like that... time to spend $texas on a vet now... i have to make some phone calls and see which one treats reptiles...
