So I was checking for eggs tonight, and found one of the girls with a nice normal set. Then, I started looking for more and.....BAM:shocked: there it was!

If the quarter wasn't a good enough comparison, I also took a pic of it next to one of the other girl's "normal" eggs:main_yes:

And here is mom.....don't feel bad for her, she still weighs 75 grams after laying that beast! (and she is not a giant)

It appears to be fertile (you can actually see the "bullseye" in the pics) so I hope it hatches. By the way, this egg weighs a whopping 6+ grams! I can't wait to see how much that baby weighs.:main_robin: The "normal" egg weighs 3 grams. I was looking at it and still couldn't believe it:main_laugh:

Enjoy!

you have to destroy that egg before godzilla hatches and wreaks havoc on your city!!

jk, cool that it's so big. Maybe you have twins in there or something.

Wow! My first female clutch last year she layed two huge eggs like those at one time unfortunately I didn't know the water to vermiculite ratio and they died.....

Poor baby! 75 grams or not, As a mother of 3, all I have to say is... ouch!:worried2:

That egg is huge! You'll have to keep us updated on that one!

My first baby was 10 pounds 8 ounces so I can sympathize with the poor girl, LOL. Hope you get a big healthy baby.....or two from that egg!

I'm sorry. That sucks.

Did you candle it at any point? I'm just curious as to whether it was fertile or not. The last clutch that my MSTA laid were 2 BIG eggs for her (not as large as your dinosaur egg, though ;)). They were not fertile. They candled yellow for 3 weeks and then started to deflate. That was her 6th clutch, though, and she was only bred 1 time, so I was not surprised.

Are you serious I realy wanted to see what would come out of that.
I know, me too.....I was totally bummed.:(

Yeah, I candled it and the bullseye just stayed very faint, and it collapsed and started to smell after a few more days.
