Chilean Sphagnum Moss

Can I use Chilean Sphagnum Moss in my moist hides? I'm searching for a cheaper medium and this stuff seems relatively cheap. They don't say much about it but here is a picture.

That is the stuff I use. You don't need a block that big though. I only use the small ones available in the flower stores.

You do what? Need a big block of that? That stuff expands like 80% what is was. From what I can tell in the picture, that is a computer monitor sized block.

I'm trying to buy so much moss that I don't need to buy again for a very long time. And of course the more you buy the cheaper it is.
