Clay burrowing substrate

Has anyone tried using the excavator clay burrowing substrate by ZOO MED and how did it work for you? I plan on using it in a 20 L tank for a more realistic display.

Also if you are using it for leopard geckos it says on the package it cannot be used with under tank heating, to me it doesn't fit for them anyways.
