I am thinking about making Stripes a hide but I'm not sure whether clay is safe. Will it be ok if he licks it? Will it crumble into little bits and become into 'sand'?
as long as you cure it right and seal it i don't see there being a propblem. but if your overly worried you could always build one with grout and stryfoam
