any ideas of a clear food bowl that will keep meal worms in , and isnt to big for a 10 gall tank and wont tip over?? my leo doesnt seem to "find" his mealies in his brown meal worm dish (the one with the lip)

For the female in my 10 gal I use a clear glass ash tray I got from Wal Mart. The worms can't get out, its heavy enough to not be moved, and she can see the worms. Not to mention cheap, was a dollar and some change.

i put some flat rocks next to the mealworm bowl, while exploring from a higher ground he should notice the wriggling worms!
only clear dishes I've seen have been for hermit crabs, they wouldn't have a lip though.

I think they were found back in Housewares. And they were all one size. I've actually got two of them in the 10 gal with her. One is a calci/worm dish and the other is her water dish.

ya an ashtray, motel-style, would probably work real well. the lip doesn't curl in but it may still hold themealworms.
theyre usually pretty good weight, but may not be "clear" like you want - he may see moving shadows though.

I don't know, these are fairly clear in my opinion. But still, its low enough for a gecko walking by to see down into but high enough to keep the worms in.

maybe they get cloudy after i use them is all...lol
but ya, they would be a good size to keep worms in

i've had great success with the "mealworm feeder" bowl so far, my leo finds his way into it fine
