coccidia & crypto symptoms

Ok, please excuse my non-knowledge of the symptoms here, but can someone tell me what they are to lead to a fecal? I've never seemed to have an issue, but since we will be having lots more hatchlings this year, I just want to know what to look for.

I recommend the book "Understanding Reptile Parasites" by Dr. J. Klingenberg. It covers the basic information and is easy to read.

To the best of my knowledge -Coccidia and Crypto are only two among many parasitic problems that geckos can harbor
Pin worms are one of the most common parasites that can infest baby geckos and a large number of them left untreated in a very young/small gecko can be fatal

Early symptoms of parasitic infestation can be runny smelly stools and lethargy along with weight loss and loss of appetite or eating normal amounts of food and losing weight
The best thing to do if your gecko has repeated or lasting symptoms such as these is to have a fecal sample checked and go from there
