Coconut fiber roll

Can I use this coconut fiber roll for the inside of my humid hide? Seems it would be less of a mess and I can cut it to size.

That doesnt look like it would be comfortable, or hold humidity well. Best to stick with paper towels, sphagnum moss(messy), or vermiculite.
