I have two little crested's Thirsty and Ginger. I have them in a big x terra glass front vertical terrarium. The ambient temperature in there is about 75 degrees so I was told by the breeder to not use a light as they don't need much light( I was thinking about the xterra tropical light that is like 13 watts or so) I use red christmas lights on top of the terrarium for nighttime as I was told that would work. I am really worried though as the Cresteds are very lethargic. I also found little tuffs of mold growing on the substrate. I have a live plant in there for them many fake plants and two rock ledges. I want them to be happy and I am afraid they are dying. I saw feces in there and cleaned it up. Diarreah, two days ago. I am not seeing them eat or drink water. Help please they're awesome and I am worried. I feed them every other day Repashy every other day and have mini pin head crickets for them but haven't used them as the gecko's are small and I don't know if they can eat the crickets(was told they can choke easily). What substrate, light can I use and should they be so unmotivated. Ginger never even moves too much.I've had them one a little over a week.
