Are there any other leo owners going to college next year?? I am dead set on bringing my leo to college because my parents and my sister wouldn't be able to give her adequate care. What are you planning to do?

Also, I am very worried about my roommate. Of course, there are many people who hear the word "lizard" and think "ew." I'm just hoping I get someone who is understanding enough to let me convince them she is harmless or someone who likes animals. I did random roommate at the college I'm going to so I'm hoping for the best.

I'm going to college in the midwest where I live. If there is anyone else in this area going to college next year I would love it if you sent me a pm! We might even be going to the same college! It'd be awesome to have a fellow leo-lover on my campus. Thanks!

Im a junior, I had the same problem 2 years ago. Unfortunately I went to a private baptist college and no pets were allowed. So after the first semester I made a lot of friends, and one of my buddies let me keep them at his house off campus. But I have so many now I just keep them at my parents house until I'm out. I wish you luck, because if I can find fellow herpers I'm sure you'll find some too!

Good luck!

I don't think many places allow geckos, but I have heard that some RAs will just look the other way. I mean it's the same as keeping an aquarium basically... lol. That's a good idea about making friends with someone who has an apartment, thanks! ;)
