my shctb leopard gecko was placed on brown carpet substrate and it got darker anyone know why this happend but it had nothing to do with health because it was very bright yesterday and know today its darker on that substrate but its still active thats how i know its not from her health /and can i change the carpet substrate color to green will it get its old bright color back someone please help its brownish color is undesirable.:main_angry:

with other lizards that can change color due to surroundings, a brown brings out a brown color. I'm not sure of leopards having this tho.

I do know that once I switched my geckos to white paper towel as a substrate, and upped their temps, their colors brightened very significantly.

My murphy patternless changes color. For example if my leopard gecko hasn't been associated with light it becomes a dark gray color. But if I would put light in the room for about 30 minutes she changes into the most beautiful colors

so would the green reptile carpet brighten up its color instead of brown reptile carpet
