i got a murphys patternless about 2 months ago and i was told it was a tad bit to dark (his body was a dark brownish yellow and a dark purple tail) so i changed my heating pad and changed everything and he eventually changed his color to a dark/lightish yellow .but he keeps changing color .he does it probably about 2 times a day.
is this normal or am i doing something wrong

what are your temps at? with my blizzards if my temps are in the high 80's low 90's they get dark , but if i raise my temp to say 94 they lighten a bit.

many leopard geckos, particularly blizzards, patternless, and low grade hypos change from light to darker colors throughout the day based on temp, time, and mood. its normal

+1

I was going to say, check it at random times of the day, and at different temps of the cage that it might be staying at... i bet its color will change from lighter to darker as these different variables are changed aswell.
