several of my geckos from from non-tangerine backgrounds were crossed with a mack snow 66%het raptor.
The resulting non-mack offspring had
some interesting colors, many times combinations of a high contrast yellow or yellow green over what appeared to be a purplish grey...
The colors are sometimes difficult to catch with a camera...
They looked different at birth, but not the striking black and white high contrast hatchlings that are generally accepted as mack snow hatchlings...
I was curious if anyone else is hatching crosses like this, or notices anything interesting....it almost appears as if the pigment is layers apart, like the yellow may be several layers above this purple color (for instance), which is a layer or two above the grey or black.
another question I have is if anyone is crossing macks and getting non macks, how the colors (if any) are holding up until adulthood...
below are some NON-mack offspring from crossings with the father being:
a mack snow 66%het raptor
thanks-
Duane
