***Colour appears faded****

i lifted his hide 2day and it appeared that his colour/pattern had faded slightly, although the colour/pattern on his head appears to be the same. Is this something to do with shedding?

If so, do i have to force him into his moist hide (ie. give him only one hide..a moist one) you see he has 3. A dry one in the hot part, a moist one in the middle and a cool one. Should i take the dry one out so he has to go in the moist one?

His colors will fade when it comes time for him to shed. Personally I wouldn't force him to it. If he wants to use it, he'll use it. Just besure to check his toes after he's done shedding to make sure his toes shed okay.

given he's feeding OK...can be due to drop in temp...or shedding, if shedding suggest you have only one hide on the warm side...with moist moss in-side...as Kotsay1414 say's check the toe's can take longer if the set-up lacks moisture:main_thumbsup:
