colour of my gecko

Hai i have only just got a gecko this Christmas and he is nearly one now he has shed twice since i have had him but after he had first shed i noticed that his head had a green colour to it and now it is always there and i dont know if this normal.

Sounds like he probably just had a slight color change..could you post a picture?

That is pigmentation all of them have, just not visible in most due to other pigmentation. It is blue (looking green due to other overlying pigment, since this pigment is from under the skin) to help filter out UV and protect the neural tissue of the brain and eyes. Nothing at all to be worried about.

Yeah that's normal. In lighter coloured geckos it's almost like you can see their eyes through the top eyelids haha
