colour of my gecko

Hai i have only just got a gecko this Christmas and he is nearly one now he has shed twice since i have had him but after he had first shed i noticed that his head had a green colour to it and now it is always there and i dont know if this normal.

hi this is a pic of my gecko i know its not the best picture but you can see a bit of the green colour that is on his head its in between his eyes.

Doesn't look to me like anything to be concerned about, just a neat little marking

That is pigmentation all of them have, just not visible in most due to other pigmentation. It is blue (looking green due to other overlying pigment, since this pigment is from under the skin) to help filter out UV and protect the neural tissue of the brain and eyes. Nothing at all to be worried about.

Yeah that's normal. In lighter coloured geckos it's almost like you can see their eyes through the top eyelids haha
