Compatible Morphs

So I've been curious about "compatible" morphs... in other words what morphs are better bred together and which morphs do you want to avoid breeding together?

SO here's my first query for this thread....

A friend in another forum said that the guys their are always saying "never breed a Tug Snow with a Mack Snow because they produce cheap offspring". As my friend put it "don't cross the streams"!

Is this actually true in the case of Tug and Mack Snows particularly?

I don't know about cheap but you'll definitely have a smaller audience of folks to sell to. Breeding two snows would produce offspring that could be either kind or both, but you won't be able to tell which snow you have since they're both white. That would mean that folks interested in breeding would probably not want your geckos since they wouldn't know which strain of snow they had. Same thing would basically go for albinos - except albino is recessive while snow is co-Dom. Crossing them will make your gecko's genetics "muddy" or a mystery so most folks interested in genetics wouldn't want them and you'd be limited to a pet home only audience - and there's no shortage of young or old Leo's that need homes.
