Yesterday morning I received my new geckos from both Marcia at Golden Gate Geckos (I think we all know who she is) and Eric at Oregon Gecko. I can't express how amazing these two people are. They have such love for these animals, and it shows through on the ones I opened my boxes to find yesterday. They arrived healthy, somewhat happy, and ready to move in to the "Condos" I built them (if you haven't seen the rack I built, there are pictures in the housing section). I wanted to leave them alone for 24 hours, let them get used to it all, and this morning while spot cleaning I snapped some quick pictures, I couldn't wait any longer! They are beyond amazing, and put me on Cloud 9+!!! Keep in mind it is close to impossible to relate their REAL colors through a little Sony digi cam :)

First off, my SHTCTB pair. Crossing these two I'll be combining to get the best possible lines...TUG, HISS, A&M, Albey, and GGG, I cannot WAIT!!!

My GORGEOUS little Super Snow girl, I named Angel. When I took the lid off her shipping cup, she crawled right up onto my palm, and flattened her belly down and went to sleep. Then later on yesterday, she fell asleep on my bare knee, all sprawled out. AMAZINGLY cute. I'm in love!

Last but DEFINITELY not least is my Enigma Mack x Fasciolatus sweet sweet man. Marcia sent him to me to love, he was born with nostril deformities, and later developed a kink in his tail while at a show. He is so amazing, literally the sweetest gecko I've ever been in contact with. I named him Piglet, for two reasons...one...he's got ADORABLE pink little nostrils, and he is a mess! :main_rolleyes:

All in all...I can't even explain how happy I am. Cloud 9 really doesn't even do it! I'm in LOVE you guys! :smitten::sweetheart::smitten::sweetheart:

I've been anxious just to see them!!! They all look very amazing and I'm sure you do love them all very much! It's funny how the collection starts small, and then before you know it, you have twice as many as you did before! :main_laugh: They're all oh-so-very beautiful :sweetheart:

Thanks guys! Jess...I DEFINITELY agree lol. These beauties will be plenty to get me started this year. I do not by any means plan to be a large scale breeder.

Yeah we don't either. We already have a possibility of making 30-40 babies next year, and so we're pushing the envelope a little bit and need to stop getting more pairs! LOL You really have some great lookers there, looks like you already have a "Kratos baby" since that's what I would imagine his raptor babies would look like ;) They're all very gorgeous, and I really love the little piglet too

Jess, he's got a heart of gold. He's the sweetest, calmest gecko I've ever seen. He is just amazing.

As far as babies next year, I can't wait to make my pairs. That male RAPTOR will be paired with my female Tremper Patty (as long as she's big enough, but she's a porker so she should be by then!), the Sunglow, etc. I'll be test breeding my two supposed Trempers as well, and their "mystery baby" from this year, and of course my SHTCTB pair. Should be a very fun year!

Sounds very exciting!! Where will the Super Snow fall in? If she's female, you could breed her with the RAPTOR and make 100% Snows all het. for RAPTOR.. but you won't get any Super Snows, so I don't know if you want to do that.. but at any rate, best of luck to you during the next season, I can't wait to see how that mystery baby proves out and what other babies you produce!

The Super Snow is not fit in yet. I am still COMPLETELY new to genetics, so we'll see. I might pick up a male for her this spring. Know knows what though lol. I just know I LOVE Super Snows (this is my first one, and I'm blown away).

Indeed! I mean, you can always see a picture of one but it's totally different when you have your own and see it in person!! Everyday we see our SS, we are just so glad to have him and love how beautiful he is. Yours isn't any different :) If you want to produce more Supers, you'll definitely need to pair her with another Snow of some kind. If you pair her with another Super Snow, you'll get 100% Super Snows.. if you got an Enigma, you could pair her with that and make 50% Snow Enigmas and 50% Mack Snows :main_yes:

Hmmm I'll have to think about it! I would LOVE to produce some Super Snow Albinos. Would I need to pair her with a male albino snow in order to do that?
