Hello, im new to this forums, and so far i am really enjoying it. I just have a question about my leopard gecko and if you guys have any input.

I bought my leopard gecko on monday of this week and it is a beauty, I havent held him yet, just let him have his space and get used to his new home. I have him in a 10 gallon tank which is just right (from what ******** said) and he seems to love his hide lol

But my main question is, the guy in the store said that they fed him that day that I got him, should he be hungry anytime soon? I tried to show him that im trying to feed him and there will be food for him but i havent seen him eat any crickets yet. I put a few in there to see what would happen, and he almost caught one... He stalked it and his tail started to wiggle but he wasent able to catch the cricket, any suggestion or any input on if he should be hungry or not?

Thanks

man its no problem. Just chill out. Some species of gecko can go without water and food for a while if they have to.
Your gecko is still getting used to his new home. Give him time. Make sure his temperature is ok and that its not too hot or too cold. (2 hot is worse than too cold). Apart from that if you have to you can take the jumping legs of the crickets off before putting them in the tank.
You could perhaps sit your crickets for a few minutes in your fridge to slow them down abit for your gecko.
Or you could try mealworms just make sure your gecko has no problem processing the worm.

I feel good now, my Leopard Gecko finially ate!. About 6-7 crickets and left 2. This makes me feel good atleast it shows hes comfortable in his home and hes getting used to it. He has been sleep since he ate so he is comfortable in his home =D.
Im not sure of its sex because I havent been able to hold it, to check but If anyone has any name suggestions please tell me.

Thanks
