Concerned about gecko

Hello Forum!

I have a concern. My gecko, which I bought in January, has been doing well up until recently. She gained some weight and thickened her tail some. Up until week and half ago (about). I fed her some silkworms for a little while as a treat along with superworms which she has always been excited to eat since I got her. She ate the silkworms, but that was when she started eating less, and come last Friday she stopped completely. I read the sticky on gecko's not feeding, but she hasn't lost any weight. I read another post and it mentioned that as it's springtime, feeding is not the first thing on her mind, but I am a first time owner and not sure. My main question is, should I be concerned?

Good that you read that sticky! There have been a lot of threads lately about gex going off food. If they are otherwise healthy and husbandry is correct, it would be around shed or ovulation time. Not anything to be concerned about, just aware :) If you look at her belly and see an pink spot about the size of a pencil eraser, it's ovulation.

One thing to add to Laneys comment is make sure nothing has changed in its enclosure.Make sure it has warm end temp of 88-95 Deg
