I've read it's good to feed young Leos as much as you can in one 15 minute meal and once they stop (ie. they are full) then that's how you know how much you should be feeding them per day.
Thing is, my 7-month old Leo just downed somewhere between 20-30 mealies. Is this normal? I've been giving her about 10 a day but a few days ago I decided to see if she would like more, and.. yeah, she pigged out alright. And they weren't small, skinny mealies, either. They were more or less adult sized.
Oh, another question: Do baby carrots provide enough moisture for mealies? I put in about 1 baby carrot every 3-4 days in a little tupperware container filled with rolled outs and about 150-200 mealies.
Thanks for any help!
