So, I have two leopard geckos that have eye infections and one of them isn't eating because 80% of the time his eyes are closed. Everyday I remind my parents that these two have problems and that we should go to the vet. I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

P.S. I'll try to get updated photos of both ASAP.

Tell them that they are animals and that they cannot tend to themselves. Technically NOT taking them to the vet would be considered animal neglect/abuse. This is an arrestable charge. Fyi. =)

Call and find a vet for them. Make an appt you can go to after school. Then tell your mom or dad what you've done and see who can take you. You know their schedules and should make an appt. convienant for them. As to the expense of the vet you can offer to get a parttime job to help offset the bills. Let them know you did it because you wanted to be responsible for your pets.

Good Luck

As for your leos eyes being stuck shut I have one like that. you can take a warm wet compress and place it over her eyes to soften up the goop. Don't cover her nose. After you can wipe away the sofetned goop.

So do you need a ride to the vet or money? I suggest having a good source of income before adopting/buying any kind of animal or you run into situations like this , maybe you could get a job if that's the case and they will see your trying at least.
