We bought them once. I was very cool to see them hatch, but I have no clue as to how to raise them. We let them go in our garden, but never saw them again. They are so small, I don't know if they could even eat an ant. Maybe pin head crickets.

They're really easy to raise, just expect a high mortality rate. Keep them together until their third molt in a suitable sized container. That has just a little ventilation. Separate them after that. Feed them wingless fruitflies until they can handle small crickets and keep a water crystal in at all times. Clean out the containers when needed. As they get bigger feed them increasingly bigger crickets and give suitably sized bugs you find around the house whenever you can. Mine seem to love house flies.

We've got several small garden centers in my town that sell these. Last year I got 3 egg cases for $4.99. I put them in my garden every year.

Breeding mantids too. Check out the forum Isis mentioned. Great info. Looks like Tenodera. (Chinese mantid) They are realy fun to keep. They can grow pretty big.
