Cool side temps too cold?

It's getting colder so I've been checking the temperatures more often in my enclosures in case I need to adjust thermostats. One of my enclosures is at 68 degrees on the cool side. It's usually in the 70s so is it too cold now? Should I use a low watt red bulb on that side to get it back into the 70s? I live in Minnesota so it will get even colder.

No that should be fine so long as the hot side is 85-95 degrees. If you're really worried about the temps lowering down, perhaps put a heat lamp in the middle of the tank, that way there is still a gradient.
In the night, I wouldn't worry too much about the heat lamp though.

I love my Canadian winters too. Oh there is nothig better than skating over a frozen pond! We have one 5 minutes away from my house, it is so great. I cannot work a stick though. I just trip over it. x] I'm hoping to see a moose this winter. I haven't seen one for so long and they are so majestic! :)
I know! Hahah poor little guy!

Jeez I thought MN was too cold, but we don't get that negative. I think -20 with windchill is the coldest it gets but last winter we barely had any negative days.
