cork tile for a leopard gecko

im looking to get a better substrate for my leopard gecko and was wondering if i can use cork tile

Might have trouble maintaining temperatures depending on the thickness.

I use vinyl tile myself and it works GREAT. Check 'em out at Home Depot. I pick up 3/$1 (12"x12" sheets)

corks not the best.what chemical is it sealed with.
