Could someone please explain what the '1.1' and all that kind of stuff means in your signitures. Like you might have 'Leopard gecko 2.2'

So if you have 1 male and 2 females, it would be 1.2 leos/geckos/dogs (whatever animal).
Sometimes people add a third for eggs.

This seems to be a pretty common question lately

The numbers mean how many animals of a particular sex a person has. The first number is for males. The second, for females. The third is for unknown or unsexed animals.

For example;

1.0 means that I have one male

1.1 means that I have one female and one male

1.1.2 means that I have one male, one female and 2 unknown or unsexed (usually in reference to new offspring)


Occasionally you will see people use a fourth number as well, this usually means how many unhatched eggs they have in the incubator.
