My first question is kind of simple. If a leo is het something, will you see whatever the het is, or is it just in its genes, unable to see it?

My second question is probably just as easy to answer :D My leo, Sammy, was sold to me as a mack snow albino, and I was wondering if you guys can see anything else in him? His tail is started to get little flecks of orange here and there, and I wasn't quite sure if that was common.

Top View - This is what he looks like from above.
Tail - It's kinda hard to see the orange flecks in this picture, but you can a little bit.
Giant Side View - Shows most of him.
Kind of Behind Him - Just another view.

I tried to get a picture of his eyes, but he kept on moving.

Thanks!

Hey Erin! Het stands for Heterozygous which means an animal carrys the gene for a trait but does not express it so no you can not visually see that it is het but you can know something is het if you know the animals genetics for example: albino bred to a normal the babies would be 100% het albino. If we bred those babies to each other some would be albino but some would be normal those would be what we call 66% hets because they might be het albino but the only way to tell is to test breed!

As for your girl she looks like a pretty typical mack snow tremper albino and the orange flecking is totally normal for her to have it is just a bit of coloration poking through is all!

Hope that helped!
