This year in high school I have some teachers who i cant stand, at all. I have to mantain above a 3.0, which should be really really easy, but theres some teachers in the way.
The worst has to be my latin teacher. Three years ago when my brother had her he go tan easy A, i have her and shes way pregnant, so not only does she miss like 3 days every week, but she has horrible mood swings.

Then i have my math teacher. Shes really nice, but if you skip a step in your work, even though you get the right answer, yo uget it wrong. And she has to hold your hand, making us record every single paper.

Then theres my gym teacher. Gym should be an easy easy A, but my teacher should be a general or somthing. My partner and I win the competition for tennis, beating the rest of our class oging undefeated and yet we are still marked off for effort?

I just think the education system isnt all that far when the teachers can be so different and stuff.

Thants my rant and rave

Sounds like they are trying to teach you to succed in life. You'll run into those problems and more when you're out on your own.

well, when there's soo many things while being pregnant that can go wrong, but you can't afford to take that time off work for fear of losing your home, you tend to try as hard as you can

As for the math teacher, just stop skipping steps....they were taught to you for a reason. Down the road you may look at a college assignment and think "hmmm, glad I didn't skip those in high school"

And the gym teacher....I wish mine had been more like a drill instructor......mine was a pudgy little evil woman with evil little brat sons....and she couldn't do half the things she asked the class to do.

it was outright kaos back in my high school days, we had a math teacher that would yell at us for not using a calculator......we had to use a calculator for everything even if it was for something extremely simple:main_rolleyes:
my bio teacher got fired/and charged for assault when he flipped my desk over (with me in it) because i pointed out a mistake he had made.
my history teacher (extremely old and senile) gave the entire class a detention at least twice a week for absolutely no reason.
between my 11th and 12th grade year i switched schools over eight times, one school i went to for two days.....and the last school i was in four teachers got fired, one for sexual harassment with female students, one for beating up a student, one for doing cocaine in the bathroom, and another for buying weed from a student.......i also had a gun pointed at my head by another student at that school.......and that is why im a dropout, the education systems are going WAY down hill....

i must say, you got it quite good......just hang in there, its not all that bad, believe me it could be way worse.

In high school we had to take one semester of gym freshmen and sophmore year. The first week of gym my freshmen year, our gym teacher told the girls that we HAVE to wear shorts and white tank tops (my school did not have a gym dress code) and he even went as far as to request the we wear the shortest shorts that we could find. I did not participate in gym from that day on and still passed. And the school did nothing about the sexual harassment, they just said he's old, he'll retire soon. :main_thumbsdown: He still hasn't and I'm a college sophmore

robbie and becky....dang!! I definitely never had to deal with ANYTHING like that! I guess I'm glad my parents made a point of living in school districts with highly reputable public schools......If I have kids I think I will following their example...

Paul...yeah that stuff would bug the living crap out of me too....but you ARE going to have to deal with stuff like that your whole life....so you may as well get used to it now

You should have seen my teachers from last year, lol! They weren't all that bad as Becky's or Robbie's, of course. But they were all very peculiar in their own ways!

I especially remember my catalan language teacher. She wasn't a bad person, but... She was really spaced out!. She was just dumb. I cannot understand how a person like that archieved to be a teacher. Most students talked catalan much better than her, and she didn't really have any interest in giving class, because she absented many times and many other she just said "do anything you want this hour, I'm not feeling good".

But the best was when someone asked her about the meaning of "impale", that appeared in a text we were reading, and she started to avoid the question explaining things that appeared near that word or trying to explain the meaning of the whole paragraph. At first I thought she avoided the question because she was ashamed to explain it (I understand it isn't a very soft action) but eventually it became obvious that she had no idea. She would have made a bad impression if she had said that she didn't know, but the thing is that she actually invented a definition (I think she said that it was to make something quickly), what made she look even worse to the people who knew the meaning of the word (the whole class but the girl who asked). I thought I couldn't stop laughing!

Another teacher that is worth mentioning is my art history teacher. He would tell us to go home whenever there was soccer on the TV, lol!!

All my teachers from that year were real weirdos, but I don't want to bore you with more anecdotes!
