So I have had a pretty crazy past week with being a new leo owner. I go to college in western Kentucky, and got caught in the huge ice storm that hit there. Most of you probably saw it on the news. Well anyways, I was without power or water for three days. Without power my uth obviously didn't work. No stores were open for the first couple of days. To keep my leo warm I had to hold him in my hands to give him some sort of heat. A couple days later Walgreens opened via a generator, so I bought hand warmers and put those under the carpet to keep him warm. Luckily he survived. Just thought I would share my little story of how tough these little lizards are. He is fine now. He ate about 15 mealies today. And on a side note, he had his first shed last week just before the power went off and it went really well. Just a little stuck shed on his head that I had to help him with. Hope anyone else who was affected by the storm is safe as well!!!
