Created a magnetic cave...

Made this a few days before my new geckos got here. Was honestly worried that none of them would be interested in using it, but boy was I wrong!!

There is one girl on each "story" inside the "cave". And yes, I know it looks like a pile of poo hahaha. Should have used grey paint.

Anyways, I used almost a whole can of Great Stuff gap filler, let it harden, and carved out spaces to make the levels. It's held onto the side of the cage by very strong magnets for easy viewing :) They seem to enjoy it so much, I might have to make a couple more.

Like $4-$5 a bottle, depending on where you buy it. I think Walmart has it for $3.75ish, but I bought it at a home-improvement store along with some tile for the flooring. Had enough left over to make a terrestrial cave hide. Didn't include a picture because my paint job is shameful lol. It looks more appealing than this though.

Also, just as a note- I use this stuff for my amphibians so I have complete faith that it isn't toxic, in case anyone was wondering.

I cut slits into the already hardened foam and pushed the magnets in there until they were flush. Only had problems with one staying in there without adhesive. With that one, I used a little bit of super glue. Haven't had any issues with it since that.
