crested and a tunnel good or bad

I was looking up some stuff to put in my crested tank and i found an interesting thing a nice long branch with the middle hollowed out is this a good thing for the tank? i know leo like to hide and will go threw tunnels but will a crested like a tunnel like this out of wood or no?

During the day most of my crested geckos like to sleep on the ground. I put tunnels in almost all my crestie's enclosures.
