I am really interested in having a crested gecko. Does anybody know of a store or a breeder in the Orange County area that has a good selection of crested geckos? Thank you!

try searching online, there are some Cali breeders but they may not be in orange county.

Also consider a reptile show for a gecko, you may find what you want there.

Orange County in California...THE OC! Yeah, but does anybody know any stores that specialize in geckos? I presume that these might be smaller stores which explains why they do not come up when I google them.

To tell you the truth it is hard to find crested gecko breeders out in So. Cal I live in pomona, California and I have to make drives to find good color. Right now we have 3 sets of eggs waiting to be hatched. One set should hatched by the end of this month. But ***** and ******** has some but most of the time not that nice on colors. Do a Google search for reptile shops or wait for the expo this month in san deigo

Believe it or not, I got a beautiful crested gecko from someone on Craig's List (Orange County). She was breeding them for fun and had a nice selection of beautiful juvies...between $30-$40 depending on pattern. You may want to try there. Otherwise, there are two major reptile shows coming up (Pomona Super Show and Anaheim NARBC) that you can check out. You may end up paying more $ though...my crestie looks identical to the ones breeders are charging over $100 for. It all just depends on what you are looking for. Good luck!

To tell you the truth it is easier to get geckos at shows. there is a show the 7th and 8th in LA(August)It is easy because you get to see the geckos in person and they are generally cheaper and you dont have to pay shipping.Typically at most shows there are lots of Cresteds

In all honestly, I know at least 2 person in southern cali who breeds, one being Syd who just posted right above me (Hi Sydney its Melissa!). Try search on an actual crested gecko forum over a leopard gecko forum, you will get a much better responce. I do know there are several south cali reptile shows, including the San Diego Super Shows which is one of the large shows in the US.

For those looking for Crested gecko Breeder near OC

Hey guys I'm new to this site happened across it looking for geckos. For those of you looking for crested geckos I suggest going to GuyCoGecko.com or you could try going to either the Reptile Island in Stanton(7157 Katella Avenue Stanton, CA 90680 Phone # 714-761-1230) or the Reptile Island in Yorba Linda(3960 Prospect Avs., Suite S Yorba Linda, CA 92886), the one in Yorba has a lot of baby crested geckos I've gotten 2 babies from them this past week and one baby from the Stanton store. Also I've gotten 2 adult females from guycogecko and 4 babies plus a gargoyle gecko. Also if you're looking for some I'm a small time breeder and have some crested seggs close to hatching one already has!

wow why dont you advertise yourself a little more guycogecko guy...lol

Like I said there are ALOT of breeders out there in that general area, try looking on
http://www.pangeareptile.com/forums/index.php
http://www.forums.repashy.com/

These are two crested gecko forums, you will find a variety of geckos on there that are decent priced instead of over priced like some breeders as you will find small scale breeders there, instead of spending $450 on a pinstripe crested gecko at one particular breeders, I could point you in the direction of someone who is breeds even nicer pinstripes than that one for the price of their cheaper pinstripes (although this person doesnt live in cali). So check out those two forums, post a WTB ad stating exactly what youre looking for. Like I said hit up the reptile shows, see the geckos in person. And lastly, use the BOI on faunaclassifieds and look up the person and see how people feel about them, their buisness, their animals, and their ethics and decide for yourself (if they are posted) if that it the breeder you want to go with.
