Hey how's it going everyone, new to the forum and new to breeding :) I have a female and mail crested gecko that laid their very first two clutches so far as seen in the pictures below. I've never done this before and was wondering if someone can tell me weather or not I'm doing this right. I'm using hatchright and open the container twice a week for 10min other then that temp and humidity usually stay about the same as seen in the picture. I'm really not even sure what temp the humidity should be at. Should I keep doing what I'm doing or should I buy an incubator? The temp in my house usually stays between 72-75°F and drops as low as 68-69°F every now and then which isn't too good from what I've been reading so far. Been looking at the zoomed reptibator RI-10 and the exo Terra PT-2499 incubators mainly because there inexpensive. What's best ? Things look good to me so far. As far as temps go. You said that your home goes down to 68 -69 sometimes. That shouldn't be a problem for the eggs but it would be better if you could keep the lower temp at about 70. Maybe check the temps inside a cubpoard or closed closet. It might be a bit warmer in there. Eggs can take anywhere from 60 - 120 days to hatch so don't get in a rush for the hatchlings. The longer the incubation the stronger the gecko will be. Good luck with your eggs!

Thanks, I want to keep them at about 75 so I've been leaving them in my dresser drawer and it still gets to 68-69 which is why I'm thinking about the reptibator .

Welcome aboard! Congrats on the eggs! Your temps look OK but as was said, see if you can find something a little bit warmer. Can't wait to see what hatches out!! Keep us updated!
