crested question

ok i was told by several people and by many things i read on the internet that crested geckos do not need any lighting, just basic lighting that is already in the room( like the ceiling fan light). is this true? should i add a light to my cresteds tank? thanks

I don't have a light on my crestie.
I simply open the window in my bedroom when I wake up in the morning.

He's doing just fine so far.

The only time you need a light is if you have plants and even then just a flouresent light and not right on top.

ok i have a spare 15 watt floresent that im going to use for her. i keep my curtins closed at all times because of the way my window faces the sun. thanks!!
