Hello,
My gecko Ginger is kind of quiet and passive compared to my other gecko Thirsty. Ginger is actually a boy(thought he was a girl oops). Ginger hangs out by a potted pothos all of the time curled up while Thirsty jumps all over so I worry about Ginger. I gave Ginger and Thirsty some entoemoeba repashy superfood thinking that Ginger might be sick. I noticed after this that Ginger started walking on the vines and moved away from his pothos. I treated them for a week like the label says. Ginger was perky but is now hanging out by the pothos again curled up there. Ginger is skinnier than Thirsty, but he eats and they get along very well. Well two days ago I picked up Ginger and his underbelly and throat were bright orange. I would take him to a reptile vet, but they really don't know much about Gecko's. Two different vets didn't even know how to sex them. I am thinking that maybe the color is coming off of the pot the pothos plant is in. Tonight I am going to see if I can wash the orange off of his tummy. That plant has been in there for months and he has never been orange before. It is a really cool color, but I am worried. Has anyone eles had a crested turn orange on them. Ginger is a brindle/red color.
