I had this post in a different section but I'm not sure what was right so pardon me for the double post.
So I have had my 3 month old crestie for about a month now (got him from Pangea). His name is Samy. Ever since I got him he has refused to eat. I feed him CGD, the stuff that you mix the nectar with base. If I shove the spoon in his face he will start licking his lips and I can get him to take a little bit. But he refuses to voluntarily take it from him food dish. I have also tried feeding him crickets, he refused. I tried 2 mealworms last weekend and he took them with no problem. But I have heard the mealworms aren't good and there is a high risk of impaction, so I don't want to do that again.
Basically, is there something I am doing wrong? How can I get Samy to eat? He is getting awful skinny and it makes me nervous...
