Cricket Feeding Problem

Well I accidently fed my leopard gecko a to big a cricket. It won't eat another one so when should i feed it again? Any health hazards?

how big was the leo and how large was the cricket? If it swallowed it fine I think it should be ok and you can stay on his/her regular feeding schedule. if it had trouble swallowing it than I would lay of feeding it for a day or so. Just make sure it swallowed it and its not stuck in its throat.

i think the rule of thumb is now bigger than the width of your leos head

I agree, as long as it swallowed the cricket okay, then it'll most likely be just fine. The reason it didn't want to eat another one is beacuase it most likely got full on just that one

My Leopard Gecko is about 8-9 inches long and it ate about 1/2 inch cricket >.< But it pooped

Hmm Tried to feed it a small one ignored it =(

sometimes you should wait for a few days before trying to feed him again.
