cricket problem

my leo is eating mealworm at start...now i wanna try to let it eat cricket..
at first i put in cricket and it not even watchin them...then i took out mealworm for 2 days, put in cricket again...

the thing is it try to strike it once..then failed..

then it went back to his hide to sleep..LOL

is my gecko lazy to hunt?haha

They can be lazy definitely, especially if a cricket runs & jumps too fast. Try pulling the hind legs off the crickets, it'll prevent them from jumping, but they'll still move and run at a slower speed.

Or better yet give dubia roaches a try (if it's legal where you live). They're healthy feeders like crickets, but without the jumping, chirping, and smell.
