I never leave adult crickets in with my beardie because they bite... but do smaller crickets bite too? Kirin runs away from them when I move him into a container to feed, I just wondered if I put some in his tank... would they hurt him? Didn't know if bit when they are younger or not.

IMO if a feeder is nibbling at a leo they are either sick or newborn hatchlings that havnt the ability to shake off a prey.A cricket will not nibble at a healthy animal IMO

Yes little ones bite too. I had little ones bite my baby beardies... so they bite :p Also, just because a leo doesn't shake off a prey doesn't mean it's not healthy. For some reason, just like most beardies they won't shake them off. Some will, some won't.

This is why I stick to mealies/supers :p I HATE crickets

A t least in my experience and opinion a healthy leo will not allow a cricket to chew on him.maybe other ppl have their own experience.

Kirin actually runs away from them... but I didn't want to give him the chance to be chewed on... ((my beardie just lays there mad... but she won't eat crickets anymore... maybe that's why... who knows.))

Yep...the little ones bite too! When my Dragon was a baby, the breeder told me to put baby food in his salad. Well he stepped in it, and while basking, the 3 or 4 baby crix that I left in with him while I was at work ATE 4 of his toes off on his back foot! I was sick over it! But he's a completely Healthy BD...he is just a little dumb Roger, not unhealthy:p
