I was wondering if someone could tell me how quickly crickets grow into the next size. My juv leos should be eating size 5 crickets, but i had the crickets since thursday and they seem to grow bigger pretty quickly. (feeding them oats and carrot)

They havent started to chirp yet which definitely makes them smaller than full size 8 but is there any chance they've gone up a size or two?

If fed and kept properly crickets should grow to their full size in 5 to 6 weeks usually getting their wings at 5 weeks.
Most of my hatchlings can tackle 4 week old crickets almost grown pre wing.

and once my geckos are a few weeks old can handle 5 wkrs.

seance they are eating such a large meal they usually only take one or 2.:D

thanks! I am very grateful that they havent developed wings yet...those long legs give them enough advantage already...They currently get swallowed without hesitation so it seems to be ok :)
