Crickets+crested gecko diet?

I am feeding my 3 crested geckos repashy CGD. A lot of things online say you should also feed some crickets with it. I was just wondering if any of you use repashy and crickets. If so are there places you can get crickets for cheap? Thanks!

I feed CGD which I keep in at all times (obviously changing regularly) but I feed maybe 3-4 1/8" crickets every 3 or so days. You have to watch though as they can start getting addicted to crickets. My crested is still young yet, so I had to stop crickets completely for a while so I knew he/she was eating the CGD. They tend to try and fill up on the crickets. Feeding crickets does help with weight gain. I actually dust the crickets with the dry CGD to try and get some more nutrition in there. As far as cheapest, I think it costs me 2$ every month for crickets. I only use them for my cresty and I get about 20-30 each time. You can get bigger amounts for cheaper. You could try and start up your own colony.
